Looking to bust into the record books again this afternoon as temps top out near 90 degrees! It'll stay sunny and breezy all day and we can expect more of the same Wednesday. Late in the day a few clouds will roll in keeping most of us in the 80's as another cold front approaches the Permian Basin. After sunset Wednesday, expect a quick shift in wind direction as north winds bear down on the Basin gusting to near 45 mph. Blowing dust is a possibility Wednesday evening along with a quick drop in temps. By Thursday morning a few showers could pop up as temps drop into the 40's, most of us will struggle to get out of the 40's Thursday afternoon followed by early Friday morning temps in the 30's! The cool down will only be a tast of winter though, 70's return for the weekend.
