Medication Take Back Day

By: Dylan Brooks
Updated: October 26, 2011
MIDLAND - It can be dangerous to keep medicines left over from prescriptions in our homes.

The medicines could end up being abused, or often times in the water supply from being flushed.

The Midland Coalition teamed up with the DEA for the 3rd National Medication Take Back Day, being held Saturday from 10am - 2pm at the Fairmont Park Church of Christ. The church is located on Midland Drive.

Medication Take Back Day give people with leftover or expired medications the opportunity to safely dispose of the medications.
