After a cold front surged south through the Permian Basin last night get ready for a much colder afternoon! Temps at midnight were in the upper 50's which will be the warmest we are all day. This afternoon's temperatures will only be in the upper 40's with off and on mist & drizzle. Clouds will break up closer to sunset and clear out completely by Friday morning. Winds will gust to near 30 ill the evening also but over night tonight with the lighter winds and clear skies temps will drop quickly. Look for temps to get close to the freezing mark before sunrise. Upper 50's likely Friday and the abundance of sunshine will bring 70's back by Sunday!
