By: Stephanie Castillo
Updated: November 2, 2011
OHIO-- A widowed duck in Ohio puts out a personal ad.

Crackers, a female duck from Ohio, lost her mate four months ago. Her owners saw how depressed the loss left Crackers, so they took out a newspaper personal ad for her.

They got more than twenty phone calls in response, and were able to find one duck who fit the bill.

Carlos and Crackers hit it off and now Crackers owners are hoping for lots of chicks this spring.
