Closer to 1pm this afternoon a cold front will makes its entrance to the Permian Basin. Expect winds gusting to near 50 mph this evening and areas of blowing dust with visibilities less than 2 miles at times! Temps will drop quickly also, look for temps by Thursday morning to have dropped to near freezing, freeze warnings in effect for mush of the northern Basin. Temps will warm to the 50's Thursday afternoon with 70's returning by riday and into the weekend. Be careful driving this afternoon but get ready for a great weekend!
