Fewer people flying this Thanksgiving, but airplanes still as cramped as ever.

About 37,000 fewer people are expected to fly over this Thanksgiving holiday. At the same time, American Airlines, US Airways and Delta are reducing the number of destinations they fly to.

While travel demand is down from last year, passengers should expect full flights during the Thanksgiving holiday. According to a report by hotwire.com, 82 percent of those planning to travel for Thanksgiving still have not booked their travel arrangements.

Meaning, they'll pay a premium for last minute airfares.
