Motorcycle Crash at First and Washington in Odessa

ODESSA -- A motorcycle wreck was deadly for one Odessa man.
30 year old Steven Thompson was traveling northbound on Washington Lane early Sunday morning. Police say he failed to control his speed than lost control hitting the railroad track and slammed into a fence. Thompson ended up in the 300 block of West First at the Washington intersection.
Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene. No word on whether or not he was wearing a helmet.
