ODESSA -- An Andrews man dies days after a weekend bar fight in Odessa.

Odessa Police say James Myers Hogeland died Tuesday at Medical Center Hospital.

Officers say that Hogeland, 23, was knocked unconscious in a fight at Graham Central Station in the 4200 block of Preston Smith Boulevard around 11:55 PM Saturday.

Hogeland reportedly woke up by the time an ambulance showed up at the club, and he didn't end up going to the hospital.

Hogeland returned to Andrews after the incident, but he checked into a hospital there Monday. He was later airlifted to Medical Center Hospital, where he died Tuesday.
