Man Arrested In Connection With Bob's Place Stabbing

One arrest has been made in the stabbing incident that occurred about 7:45
p.m. last night at Bob's Place, located in the 11,000 block of West 42nd.

Arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a
Felony 1, was:

Bigford, Kenneth Faron
W/M
DOB: 11/03/1966

Bond set at $50,000.00  (Subject still in custody at the time this is
being sent.)

Victim's name is Israel Garcia.  Garcia was treated and released from
Medical Center Hospital.

The investigation continues and no further information is expected to be
released today.

Ector County Sheriff's Deputies received a call about 7:45 p.m. in
reference to a "Disturbance / fight in progress / stabbing victim" .

Officers responded to Bob's Place, (Lounge) in the 11, 000 block of West.
42nd St..

Victim was stabbed in the back of the neck with a sharp instrument.

Victim was transported to MCH and condition is unknown at this time.

Victim is a white male, 37 yrs old.  Name being withheld pending family
notification.

Deputies have 4 people detained at this time and are questioning them
about the incident.

This investigation is on going.
