Military Rodeo Hits The Basin

MIDLAND -- A rodeo is in West Texas this weekend unlike any other. The Professional Armed Forces Rodeo championships began Saturday at the Midland County Horseshoe.
The rodeo features U.S. military men and women from around the country showing off their skills. And fans say this rodeo is a unique way to say thanks to our service men and women.
"The rodeo form at our venue comes from a place in the heart," says Rodeo Attendee Roy Hodgson. "It's equal to the desire for service in the military. It's all embedded and it's such a brotherhood to have that kind of military background compete with and against each other."
The last rodeo was held Sunday night at 7 PM.
