MIDLAND --  Poor judgment lands a Midland woman behind bars.

Rheal Defer, 33, was arrested on November 22nd.

Midland Police say that defer and her young child got in a Dodge pickup truck on November 22nd.

The pickup truck crashed at Midkiff Road and Golf Course Road and Midland Police found out that both the driver and Defer were drunk.

Police also say Defer's child wasn't in a booster seat -- although that child was buckled in.

Now, Defer is charged with endangering a child and criminal negligence. She's no longer listed in jail records.

This isn't Defer's first run-in with the law in 2011. Earlier this year, Big 2 reported that Defer was one of three women arrested for using cocaine and marijuana in front of a 3-year-old in a Midland apartment.
