MIDLAND -- A person is recovering after crashing a car into a real estate building.

This accident happened about just before 6 o'clock Tuesday night at Pecos and Missouri.

Police say a red Chevy car didn't yield at the intersection and smashed into a black Tahoe.

That forced the two vehicles to crash through the street signs and into the Hillard office building.

Officers say the crash did a lot of damage to the building, smashing several windows.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital and will be given a ticket for failure to yield right of way.
