Burn Ban Lifted In Midland County

MIDLAND -- The burn ban has been lifted in Midland County.
Midland County Commissioners agreed to lift the ban for the first time in close to a year on Wednesday -- after a record amount of snow helped ease the severe drought in Midland County.
Still, commissioners want residents to be very careful when burning anything. They also say residents shouldn't burn any materials not authorized by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's rules on outdoor burning.
Residents also shouldn't burn anything during the nighttime hours.
