SAN ANGELO -- The upcoming bigamy trail of an F.L.D.S. member from Tom Green County will now take place in Midland.

F.L.D.S member Warren Nielsen walked into his pre-trial hearing Monday morning in Tom Green County, the same as all the other F.L.D.S suspects before him had done in recent years there. But this time, there was a big change as judge Barbara Walther decided to relocate the trial to midland county.

Nielsen faces three counts of bigamy for multiple marriages that allegedly took place on the Yearning For Zion Ranch outside Eldorado in 2006.

Nielsen's trial is set to take place sometime in March. Judge Walther will preside over the trial.

The prosecutor in the case acknowledges that the F.L.D.S trials have been getting a lot of media attention, and there are growing concerns as to whether an impartial jury pool can be found in Tom Green County at this point. These concerns helped prompt the venue change for the trial.

The exact trial date hasn't been finalized yet.
