West Texas Terror Suspect Ruled Fit For Trial

A federal judge ruled Tuesday that Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari is mentally competent to stand trial.
Aldawsari, 21, is charged with one count of attempted use of a 'weapon of mass destruction.
Aldawsari was arrested on February 23, 2011 -- after agents searched his Lubbock apartment near the Texas Tech campus. The F.B.I. says they found chemicals, beakers, flasks, a HAZMAT suit, and a journal outlining plans to wage jihad in America. The journal outlines plans to build bombs and target different areas including the Dallas home of former president George W. Bush.
Aldawsari's trial will start on April 30th.
If he's convicted, Aldawsari could face up to life in prison.
