HOMS, SYRIA -- Results of Syria's constitutional referendum vote are expected to be unveiled today.
Syrian officials say voter turnout was "huge" for Sunday's referendum in spite of ongoing violence across the country.
Anti-government activists say at least 55 people were killed across the country yesterday as government troops continue to crack down on protesters.
More than two dozen of those deaths reportedly occurred in the city of Homs.
