Man Accused Of Attacking Wife Extradited To Odessa

Roy Allen Ostergren was extradited from California to Ector County on February 24th.
United States Marshals say Ostergren, 34, hit his wife with a baseball bat on December 12, 2011 in Odessa.
Ostergren then reportedly put a chain around the woman's neck, and dragged her behind his pickup truck.
Marshals said that Ostergren sneaked into in the woman's hospital room and attacked her again, before running off to California. The victim has reportedly said that she wasn't attacked at the hospital.
Marshals arrested Ostergren at a Valero station in Oroville, CA on December 21st.
Ostergren is charged with aggravated assault on a family member, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated kidnapping and parole violations.
As of Wednesday night, Ostergren was being held in the Ector County Detention Center on $250,000 bond.
