Chesapeake Energy Teams With Investment Firm

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- A major producer of natural gas in the Permian Basin is teaming up with an investment firm.
Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Company are teaming up to invest in mineral and royalty interests. The agreement will help Chesapeake Energy structure its businesses interests and capital as well.
Chesapeake Energy recently announced it will be selling most of its assets in the Permian Basin to alleviate some debt.
