MIDLAND -- Police are blaming a faulty G.P.S. device for a crash that totaled a minivan in Midland.

Police say a driver was heading west on Wall Street near l Street around 10 AM Wednesday when his G.P.S. device suddenly told him to make a right turn.

The driver followed the directions -- and turned straight into a light pole.

Luckily, no one was badly hurt in the crash, but the minivan -- which had Florida license plates -- was totaled in the crash.

The light pole also suffered damage.

Midland Police had to close a lane on Wall Street as they cleaned up the wreck.
