Former Sul Ross State University Instructor Indicted For Tampering With State Examinations

The Alpine Avalanche reports that a Brewster County grand jury indicted Kellie Powell on three felony counts of tampering with a government record on April 16th.
According to the indictments, Powell helped give students at the Sul Ross Law Enforcement Academy the answers to the state licensing exam while they were taking the test last year.
Powell was the training coordinator for the academy at the time the alleged incident occurred.
Powell resigned from the post in August 2011, Sul Ross State University learned about the tampering accusations.
