Matthew Ryan Blain was arrested on May 27th.
Midland Police say Blain fired several rounds at the glass front door on West Washington Avenue with a .22 caliber pistol around 4:45 PM on May 27th.
Blain, 20, was reportedly driving in a black Dodge Ram at the time of the shooting.
Police say they saw 3 bullet holes in the front door of the home Blain allegedly shot at.
Officers also reportedly found 5 shell casings in the street.
Police say Blain attacked someone with a 2 x 4 at the home before the incident occurred.
Blain reportedly left the scene after the alleged assault -- but police say he returned in his pickup truck and fired at the home.
The person Blain allegedly assaulted had left the scene by the time of the shooting, but several other people were in the house. No injuries were reported.
Now, Blain is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
As of Wednesday evening, Blain was being held in the Midland County Detention Center on $30,000 bond.
