SEMINOLE -- Gaines County residents can continue outdoor burning legally.

Gaines County Commissioners decided not to re-enact a burn ban during their meeting Monday.

According to the Seminole Sentinel, the burn ban item was placed on the meeting agenda by accident, but commissioners still felt discussion over the issue was valid.

Ultimately, Gaines County Commissioners decided to take no action on the burn ban.

Commissioners lifted the burn ban in Gaines County on June 11th.
