ODESSA -- Ector County I.S.D. leaders will talk about making some major changes to the structure of the district on August 8th.

The E.C.I.S.D. Board of Trustees is expected to talk about implementing a middle school model in the district.

If E.C.I.S.D. moves to the middle school model, 9th graders will be moved to Odessa's high schools -- while 6th graders will be moved to the city's middle schools.

Midland I.S.D. is also considering moving to the middle school model.

The E.C.I.S.D. meeting gets underway at 6 PM on August 8th.
