James Burwell Set To Go To Trial

ODESSA -- The man accused of murdering a prominent Odessa couple has another pre-trial hearing scheduled for next month.

James Doyle Burwell is accused of killing Dick and Peggy Glover in their home on Fair Oaks Circle last May. Burwell is being charged with three counts of capital murder for committing the murders while allegedly robbing the couple's home.

Burwell had a pre-trial hearing last Friday and has one scheduled for September 7th. The jury selection process is set to begin on September 18th.

If Burwell is convicted he is eligible for the death penalty.
