Midland Horseshoe Arena manager Mike Dooley tells Big 2 that Midland County commissioners have hired Vandergriff Group Architects to oversee the cost and general design of the expanded building.
Commissioners want to build a 100,000 square foot multipurpose facility on the Horseshoe property.
Commissioners have also requested the construction of a horse barn for horse-related events at the Midland Horseshoe Arena.
Dooley believes the added amenities are needed for the facility to attract top-notch events.
