Police arrested Nicholas Lee Sharp, Kevin Logan Towner, Devan James Cook and Anthony Lewis at Big Spring High School around 9:10 AM.
A Crimestoppers tip reportedly led police to the teens.
Police say Sharp, 17, Towner, 17, Cook, 17, and Lewis, 17, broke the window of a helicopter on display at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Big Spring on August 26th.
The teens then reportedly stole a mannequin and a clock from the helicopter, along with a World War II- era belt and canteen from the fallen soldier display case.
The thieves reportedly returned most of the stolen items to a nearby maintenance shed on Labor Day with an apology note, but police couldn't find any fingerprints in the area.
Still, officers say the 4 teens confessed to the crime after their arrest.
Three of the teens also reportedly admitted to wiping off fingerprints from the stolen items.
Now, Sharp, Towner, Cook and Lewis are charged with felony criminal mischief.
Sharp, Towner and Cook are also charged with felony tampering with evidence.
