Heavy rainfall and frequent lightning strikes will be the main concerns through the day.  Flooding will also be possible in the stronger storms.

The cold front will continue to push south today bringing with it much cooler air.  Temperatures this afternoon will be in the 60s behind the front.  Today's high temperature already occurred just after midnight. Winds will be breezy out of the northeast 15 to 25 mph with a High Wind Warning in effect for the Guadalupe Mountains until 6pm MDT.

Showers are possible into tomorrow along with cloudy skies and cool temperatures.  Friday highs will be in the upper 60s with Friday night football promising to be a chilly one.

Saturday there is a slight chance for storms but it looks like we will be drying out and warming into the upper 70s.  Sunday we will see sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 80s.
