ODESSA -- A founding member of the super group "Alabama" was in the basin this weekend, to help save a historic West Texas home.

Jeff Cook of "Alabama," along with the "Allstar Goodtime Band," performed at the Ector County Coliseum Saturday night.

It was all part of a benefit concert for the White-Pool House -- the oldest standing structure in Odessa. The home is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, but after recently loosing funding the home is falling on challenging times.

The totals aren't in yet, but the event raised money through ticket sales, along with a silent and live auction.

Big 2 was proud to support the event. Big 2's Shelby Levins served as emcee.
