Milk Prices May Rise

It's something many of us have in the fridge, milk.
Prices could spike, even double, around the New Year.
And that's something one lawmaker, Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, from New York, says could hurt many families.
Senator Schumer says dairy prices could actually double.
Congress went on its 5 week election break without passing a farm bill.
Republican leaders in the House of Representatives announced that they would not take action on the new farm bill until after the November elections.
So, with all the holidays coming up lawmakers had better work quick to agree on a policy! Or we could be paying a lot more for our milk in the new year.
