West Texas STEM Conference Comes to Midland

MIDLAND-- Midland College hosted a West Texas STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Conference on Friday in order to encourage and train young college students in their chosen fields.

Original research projects in areas of biological sciences, physical scieneces, mathematics and engineering were presented by West Texas undergraduate students.

Conference producers hope that the excitement generated from the conference will encourage students to enter science, technology, engineering and math fields.

Odessa College and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin partnered with Midland College for the event.
