Midland Man Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison For Aggravated Assault WIth Deadly Weapon

MIDLAND -- A Midland man will spend the next 15 years in a Texas prison for causing an assault.

    The Midland County District Attorney's Office tells Big 2 that William Whitfield was sentenced to 15 years in prison on October 3rd -- after jurors convicted him of two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

    The Midland County District Attorney's Office isn't releasing many details on case, but they say 5 people were charged with aggravated assault for the same incident.

    Two of the people charged have yet to stand trial.
