MIDLAND -- It was one of the most, if not the most exciting game of the season.

The Midland Bulldogs were on the wrong side of a 43-42 game against San Angelo Central. But the team had plenty of chances to win the game. The Bulldogs scored 35 points in the first half, building a 14 point lead. But in the second half, the offense struggled and the bobcats won the game on a two point conversion with only 11 seconds in the game.

Coach Craig Yenzer says his team is disappointed because they had their chances to put it away.

"Through it all, Central made the plays and we didn't. Offensively I though we just got a tad bit stagnent in the 3rd quarter. We didn't move the ball like we had the entire game and even in the 4th quarter. Looking back we had our chances. We just didn't make the plays and San Angelo Central did."
