MIDLAND -- A Midland County man will spend the next 15 years in a Texas prison, after he was convicted of a sixth D.W.I.

Jason Dax Creek pleaded guilty to D.W.I. charges in the 142nd District Court in Midland County on October 4th.

Creek, 40, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he made his guilty plea.

Creek was arrested in August 2011, after authorities caught him driving recklessly on Business 20.

Creek was reportedly running other drivers off the road when he was pulled over.

Creek's blood alcohol content was 0.32 (4 times the legal limit) at the time of his arrest.

Authorities also say Creek was on prescription drugs when he was drinking.

Creek was on probation for a felony D.W.I. in another Texas county at the time of his arrest.

Prosecutors haven't said what county Creek was placed on probation in, but the revoked probation likely factored into his sentence.

Prosecutors say Creek has now been convicted on D.W.I. charges 6 times.
