Trial Underway For Odessa Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Young Girl

ODESSA -- A trial is underway for an Odessa man who's accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.

    Jury selection began at 1:30 PM Tuesday in the 161st District Court for the trial against Walter Ray Webb.

    Webb, 49, was arrested on September 17th, after he was indicted for 2 counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and sexual performance by a child younger than 14 years old.

    As of Tuesday evening, Webb was being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
