Early Voting Continues To See Spike In Permian Basin

MIDLAND -- More than 35,000 residents have already cast their ballots for the 2012 elections in Midland and Ector Counties alone.

    Early voting started on Monday, October 22nd, and will continue through Friday, November 2nd.

    At least 21,715 people have taken advantage of early voting in Midland County -- with at least 1,724 of those votes being cast Tuesday.

    Meanwhile, at least 14,289 people have taken advantage of early voting in Ector County -- with 1,076 of those votes being cast Tuesday.

    The 2012 general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6th.
