ODESSA -- A unique look at some distinct aircraft from the National Air and Space Museum is now in the Permian Basin.

Photographer Carolyn Russo has been taking pictures since 1988, and over time her skill has grown.

Russo has put together 3 book projects, and her latest project is now on display at the Ellen Noel Art Museum on Friday.

In plane view examines aircraft and also searches for the personality and quirks that people might not normally see.

"I broke the exhibit down into five sections," Russo told Big 2. "So we have speed bursts and motion. We have flora-fauna anthromorphism, graphics, textures and skins, and propellers."

Russo herself was at the Ellen Noel Art Museum on Friday, to discuss her work with an audience.
