18 Arrested In Drug Arrest Warrant Sweep In Southeast New Mexico

CARLSBAD, NM -- Agents with the Pecos Valley Drug Task Force team up to arrest 18 people for drugs charges during an arrest warrant sweep in Southeast New Mexico.

    Agents of the Pecos Valley Drug Task Force, Eddy County Sheriff's deputies, Carlsbad Police officer, and Deputy United States Marshal's performed an arrest warrant sweep in Eddy and Otero Counties on November 1st and 2nd.

    Agents arrested a total of 17 people on November 1st and 1 more person on November 2nd.

    All those arrested had outstanding warrants on drug-based charges.

    The 17 people arrested on November 1st are as follows (ages in parenthesis):

1) Ira C. Storme. (48). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
2) Wesley Holman. (29). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Methamphetamine, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
3) Justin E. Thompson. (32). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Cocaine, Tampering with Evidence, Distribution of Synthetic Cannabinoid.
4) Mario G. Silva. (33). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoids (less than 1 ounce).
5) Bryan Runnels. (41). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana (less than 1 ounce), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
6) Lionel J. Juarez. (30). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoids, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
7) Liliana M. Pedroza. (33). From Artesia. Charged with: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
8) Michael A. Briseno, Jr. (21). From Artesia. Charged with: Possession of Synthetic Marijuana.
9) Kenneth W. Hays. (28). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
10) Wesley D. Davis. (56). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoids, Conspiracy
11) Richard J. Logsdon. (21). From Carlsbad. Charged with Possession of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoids (less than 1 ounce), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
12) Robert Bernard DeHahn. (62). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
13) Rose L. Elliott. (27). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
14) Rebecca L. Calderon. (a.k.a. Lacey Brown). (28). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
15) Garrod L. Ashford. (24). From Carlsbad. Charged with: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
16) Brittany Aragon. (25). From Artesia. Charged with: Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
17) Erica Saldana. (37). From Alamogordo. Charged With Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to Traffic, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

    The name of the person arrested Friday has not been released.

    Agents with the Pecos Valley Drug Task Force anticipate that more arrest will be made in the days to come.
