Same sex marriage is on the ballot in three states today.
Voters in Maine, Maryland and Washington State will decide whether to legalize it in their states.
If it passes in any of those three states, it would be the first time same-sex marriage was made legal by popular vote.
Legislation or court orders have made it legal in six states so far.
