In 2004, Loretta Seghers and some other Conoco Phillips employees were at a gun shoot, and thought it might be a good way to raise money for local organizations.
From that idea, the Bad Boy Blast was born.
Starting with about 230 shooters, it has now grown so large that it takes two days just to let everyone shoot.
The money has gone to law enforcement around Midland and Odessa, helping to buy needed supplies that otherwise these departments wouldn't have.
Every year, the Bad Boy Blast keeps getting bigger.
