Officers say 3 young men broke into a home in the 1600 block of Alameda Avenue around 1:50 PM on November 5th.
Officers the burglars -- who were reportedly armed with two guns and a stick -- tried to rob two brothers in the home (one of which resided in the home).
The burglars reportedly couldn't find any money in the home, so police say they punched the two brothers and attacked them with sticks.
One of the victims was able to run to a neighbor's home and call police.
Meanwhile, both victims ended up at Medical Center Hospital with several cuts after the incident.
Police haven't released descriptions of the suspects.
