Repairs Planned For Intersection Near Gardendale

By: Dylan Brooks
Updated: November 12, 2012
MIDLAND COUNTY -- Drivers who use a major intersection near Gardendale could be hitting the brakes quite a bit this week.

TXDOT crews are scheduled to replace the pavement at the intersection of TX 158 and F.M. 1788 in Midland County on November 14th and 15th.

Crews are expected to work on the TX 158 portion of the road on November 14th, while work on the F.M. 1788 portion of the road is slated for November 15th.

Still, TXDOT officials say that there are some times during both days that the intersection might have to be closed entirely.

Work is expected to start at 7 AM on both days and last through most of the day.

Drivers should use a different route if possible.
