ODESSA -- United States Marshals have captured a West Texas fugitive who had been on the run for nearly a year.

U.S. Marshals arrested Wilton Green on November 5th.

Green was arrested during a traffic stop in front of his parents' house in the 300 block of Patterson Avenue in Odessa.

U.S. Marshals say that Green escaped from a halfway house in Midland in January.

Green had reportedly been on the run since that time.
