ODESSA -- An alleged drunk driver slams into an Odessa restaurant.

Police say a pickup truck smashed through the wall of Norma's Cafe at 5th Street and Jackson Avenue in downtown Odessa around 2:40 AM Thursday.

The driver of the pickup truck was arrested after the crash.

Odessa Police are not releasing the drivers name.

Managers at Norma's Cafe tell Big 2 that the driver's Blood Alcohol Content (B.A.C.) was more than three times the legal limit. The legal limit is 0.08.

Managers at Norma's Cafe say that they're waiting for insurance adjusters to view the damage before they can begin cleaning up the mess.
