Midland Firefighters Host Benefit For Colleague With Cancer

MIDLAND -- A Midland fire fighter who's battling cancer is getting some help from his fellow firefighters.
Midland firefighters held a fajita fundraising lunch at the Midland Central Fire Station on Monday.
Organizers say the money raised at the fundraising lunch will help cover medical costs for Captain Lee Wise.
Wise -- a 27-year Midland Fire Department veteran -- is currently battling cancer.
Firefighters say they're planning a pasture party and concert on December 1st to raise more money to help fund chemotherapy treatments not covered by insurance.
