Upscale Accessories Store Opens In Midland

MIDLAND -- A new store has opened on the north side of Midland , just in time for the holiday season.

Versona Accessories held their grand opening at the commons at Northpark Shopping Center near Loop 250 and Billingsley Boulevard.

The store features a variety of jewelry -- along with accessories such as handbags, scarves, belts, sunglasses, hair items and shoes.

It's also a big accomplishment for the City of Midland to get a store like this, since most of Versona's locations are in much larger areas.

"Versona Accessories, the nearest store is San Antonio and Plano and Rockwall," Midland Versona Accessories Store Manager Kara Dominguez told Big 2. "So to come to Midland, the Permian Basin, it's a good accomplishment for us."

Versona Accessories has a number of Christmas specials and items on sale right now.

The store will also employ about 25 people.
