Carlsbad (NM) Police Continue Search For Convenience Store Robber

CARLSBAD, NM -- Carlsbad (NM) Police continue to search for a man who robbed a convenience store last month.

    Carlsbad Police say that a man walked into the Allsups Convenience Store at 2302 West Texas Street in Carlsbad around 11:33 PM on October 30th, and took a few items to the counter.

    The man then reportedly put his hand in his jacket pocket -- to make it look like he had a gun on him -- and demanded money from the clerk.

    Police say that clerk cleaned out the register, and the robber reportedly took off with the money and the items he had originally grabbed.

    Police say the robber is about 21 years old.

    The robber is reportedly between 5'8" and 5'10" tall, and he weighs about 150 pounds.
