Happy Thanksgiving West Texas!

It will be a beautiful day out there, with temperatures across the Permian Basin ranging from the mid-70's into the lower 80's.

Skies will clear out by midday, leaving mostly sunny conditions and plenty of sunshine.

Tonight's lows will be in the 50's and 40's again, but things start to change by daybreak.

A cold front should move through around 9:00 am, and that will drop temperatures dramatically.

Highs Friday will be only in the 50's and 60's across the area.

It will be a dry cold front, but wind gusts could approach 30 mph as it moves through.

Watch for blowing dust with those gusts out of the northeast.

After that, we see another warming trend and sunny skies resulting in lower 70's by Sunday and Monday.

That will give way to yet another cold front in time for Tuesday, again dropping us into the lower 60's.
