MIDLAND---  CWO3 Gary Stouffer was one of the four Veterans who was killed in the tragic train tragedy in Midland claiming the lives of 4 people and injuring 17 people.

The 37-year-old Marine had a wife, Cathy and 2 children.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Stouffer and his family were stationed in North Carolina during the time of the accident.

The Stouffer family reached out to the West Texas Drillers for help, and now General Manager, Harold Fuller is throwing a benefit on Saturday to help them out.

"He went out and fought for us and we need to now fight for his family" says Fuller.

The Stouffer family is in need of funding for unknown expenses that they will incur in the near future as well as their transportation and lodging during the travels to Arlington Cemetery where Gary will be laid to rest.

A fundraiser will be held in front of the Wal-Mart on Loop 250 and Midland Drive in Midland on Saturday, Dec 1st from 4-6pm.  The Lady Drillers will be there raising money and selling baked goods in order to help the Stouffer family get through the holidays.
