ECTOR COUNTY -- An Ector County I.S.D. student is in big trouble, after they reportedly brought an air soft gun to an Ector County elementary school.

The incident happened on Monday at Cavazos Elementary School.

E.C.I.S.D. officials tell Big 2 that another student turned in the air soft gun to school officials.

The gun wasn't loaded, and no one was believed to be in danger at any time.

The student who brought the air soft gun to school was disciplined by school officials.

E.C.I.S.D. officials want to stress that all weapons -- whether they're real weapons or toys -- are not allowed on any E.C.I.S.D. campuses at any time.
