ODESSA -- Odessa's Christmas tree is now shinning bright along Interstate-20.

City officials lit the 50-foot tall Christmas tree in McKinney Park Thursday evening.

The annual tree lighting marks the opening of Starbright Village -- hailed as the largest display of light in the Permian Basin.

Starbright Village will be open through January 1st.
